Five Folds is a team of creatives with a passion to create great content for brands, bands and causes. We make audio/visual projects people actually enjoy watching, whether they’re laughing or learning. We bring positivity, diverse knowledge and authenticity to everything we do, because this is what we actually love to do. We can’t do anything else. No really.
John Taylor media guru/network man
John has had a passion for marketing since his time at Middle Tennessee State University. He feels at home on the wild frontier of targeted ad buys, vlogging, 360 video, drones and virtual reality. John is like the mad scientist of the group, ready to take your marketing and bring it to the next level. Moderator of Nashville Fashion TV and Dickson Street TV blogs, he knows how to engage local community. When he's not at work, he's having fun/going crazy with his three daughters, wife and dog at home.
Anthony Simpkins director/editor
Inspired by the likes of Alan Lomax's field recordings, Anthony started his own web series in 2010. Since then he has covered thousands of miles and garnered millions of views on the GemsOnVHS youtube, hopping trains or packing into artist's kitchens to get the shot. He has made content for Nashville Scene magazine and Native magazine. At Five Folds, he enjoys challenging himself and the crew to produce great content. In his spare time he enjoys playing banjo.
Tim Duggan director of photography
Tim's passion for photography stems from his love for meeting strangers and telling their stories. He has walked across the state of Tennessee, toured full-time with a number one artist, regularly met the occupants of his local Walmart parking lot, and filmed and photographed all of it along the way. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee - Knoxville where he concentrated on photography and film studies. His work has been published in Country Weekly, Rolling Stone.com, USA Today.com, NPR Music, and more.
